"Dr. A- 1800 grafts (pictures 9 months later)"
Tue Jul-05-05 10:36 AM by bhupinder

Sometimes, constraints, like the patient preference to opt for a lesser number of grafts or less than best skin & hair characteristics test the ability of a hair transplant doctor.

Artistic abilities are more clearly demonstrated in patients with challenging skin hair characteristics.

The patient below has-
Thin straight hair and a high degree of skin-hair color contrast.
Both factors making asatisfactory outcome difficult to attain.

Moreover, the number of grafts were limited.

In such a setting, only 1800 grafts (strip FUHT) were used in the frontal areas.

He has some hairloss in crown which is very likely to proceed further. For the present, he has been advised use medical means to arrest, and delay the progression of his hairloss.

Following are the pictures at 9 months post op.

Looks pretty good... why dont you add a little dermatch cover up to make it look a little more dense? Overall, I think you have something to work with... Might I ask - what kind of regemin are you suppossed to be on to halt your hairloss? Also, another question - you seem to have a decent donor supply, why is this an issue?

I have no experience to evaluate hair transplants, so I can't say if these results are good or not.
But there is one thing I like of Dr. Arvind:
The photos look very realistic. Not heavily prepared or doctored as it is usual from HT doctors.

I like it.

Natural and good results.
And the pictures actually show the result in bright light too.
For just 1800 grafts I would say very good work.

Repair HT with 1100 FUHT grafts,2080+ FUSE(fue) grafts + 100 leg hair grafts for DEM by Dr.A. I have appeared on live tv show after HT.
