I think its time I pay back all the help I got by reading the community posts on this site by relating my own experience.
I have mainly crown baldness. The hair loss too is stabilised. I am not on any medicines.
I was always afraid of hair transplants. I used to think HT is about the toothbrush like hair I once saw growing on someone's head.
But reading up on this site for the past 2 years now, I learnt a lot. Most importantly, I learned about FUSE and strip.
I am cautious by nature. I took my first step in regaining some of my lost hair in Jan 2005. I went for 300 grafts. As of date, I can say that the growth has been excellent. So much so, that I have finally decided to go for a full scale hair transplant to solve the problem for once and all.
I speak only of what I experienced. From my experience, I feel that Donor sealing is good for healing in the donor areas. I have shown my donor areas to my wife who could not find a single white spot.
There was never, in these 10 months, ever any pimples or eruptions either in the recipient area or the donor area.
I highly recommend Dr. A . As for the hotel accomodation, I stayed in The Park Royal Intercontinental. Its just 5 minutes drive from the clinic and is a 5 star hotel. Even though the Hotel's ratelist says 250$ a night, they actually offered a suite room along with breakfast at $125 a night. I would be happy to answer any questions anyone may have regarding my experience. Just email me.

Good pictures Righterany. Thanks for sharing your experience. The growth seems good. Why do you aim for only 1500 more grafts though? Keep an open mind on this. We always need a lot many more grafts than what we initially plan for for that all weather, all hair day HT. When are you due for your next HT?

I am planning for 1500 grafts because the hair growth in the frontal scalp areas is a bit thin. Nevertheless, it looks satisfactory to me. I just want the crown to match the front. Maybe stay a bit thinner. I think 1500 grafts would suffice for me for now.
BTW, you have still not answered a question. Who is your doctor? I have a strong suspicion that it is Dr. A.
