"Dr. Hasson patient, 7.5 months post-op, 4030 grafts"

This patient had 4030 grafts in one session with Dr. Hasson. His growth came on early and has only gotten better month by month. He also started Propecia about the time of the procedure and the results are visible in the crown area that was untouched during the procedure.

Nice. Can we see his donor or are we going to be denied like the other thread?

This is the only shot we have. It's a normal cut that is relatively short. He doesn't plan on cutting it any shorter and is super happy with his results.

Jotronic, no grafts were placed in the crown?
Is all the growth just due to propecia?

Yes, the crown growth is due strictly to Proscar.

Great results, but no more swimming and get used to the embarassment every time you visit the barbers when everybody can see the ear to ear strip scar which may well stretch over time and/ or remain discoloured.

As a matter of fact he had just come from the barber on the day that these photos were taken. He told me the barber does not know he had an HT and I can assure you his scar is not visible when he swims. What is visible is that when he swims he needs the towel to dry his hair not his scalp.

As usual great result from H&W. Was this done using tri-closure strip technique and if so is it possible to see the strip scar. Thanks.

I don't think tricho was used on this case. I don't have any scar shots because he didn't think they were necessary. He asked for these shots to be taken to document the growth of his results.

Thanks for the reply, I was wondering if you can give some information on how triclosure results are so far. I know it is early but you can usually tell by now if the results are much more superior. Also I am especially interested in triclosure to revise existing scars and the success rate with that.

Joe, does the patient decide whether to use tricho or not or is it the doctor's decision? Do patients pay extra for wanting to have tricho done ? I take it that not all your patients have tricho done.

Tricho is standard procedure now for all patients. I don't know if this patient had it but now ALL patients do and there is no extra charge for this as there shouldn't be.

Optimist,

Tri closure is working out really well. I *should* be able to get some more pics of a patient of ours that had tricho on his second procedure. It may happen tomorrow (Monday) but no guarantees. Success on virgin or repair patients is relative however the results overall are much better as any scar resulting from surgery has hair growing in it.
